COURSE CONTENT

STUDENT PROFILE

This programme is tailored for ambitious students aspiring to study Dentistry in English at UCV. If you do not meet the direct entry requirements, this program will bridge the gap and prepare you for a successful journey into the field.

MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

A-Level & GCSE

CCD in A-Level, including Biology and Chemistry, and

5 GCSEs with grades between 4 and 9, English and Mathematics included.

International Baccalaureate

30 points minimum, with HL Biology and Chemistry.

The total point score includes TOK and EE.

Other EU & non-EU Leaving Certificates

The equivalent of other European and International Leaving Certificates are accepted.

ADMISSION PROCESS

To determine your suitability for the programme, kindly submit the following documents to info@gdc-education.org:

  • Completed GDC Education Application Form;
  • Passport-sized photo (with a white background);
  • Scanned copy of the relevant passport page;
  • Scanned Copy of the Police Certificate issued by the ACRO Criminal Records Office (ACRO) for applicants from the United Kingdom as evidence of their criminal record status, and its equivalent documentation for applicants from other countries;
  • Scanned copy of your vaccination (immunization) history;
  • All academic transcripts and certificates.

For students who have not received English instruction within the last two years, a valid English Language Certificate is required (such as IELTS Academic with a minimum overall band score of 6.5 and no component scoring below 6.0), or its equivalent.

Students who meet the entry requirements are invited to sit an online admission test and attend an interview. Upon successful selection, GDC Education will provide instructions regarding the timeframe, which is typically 10 business days, within which students should confirm their enrolment. To secure the place, a payment of €7500 is required, as stipulated in the offer letter. This payment constitutes 50% of the tuition fee.

Secure your place in the programme early, as we have limited spots available – only 15 students will be admitted. The places are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis until the course is full.

The €15,000 tuition fee should be fully paid by the 29th of December 2023 and can be paid in one or two instalments. The first 50% of the tuition fee should be paid upon accepting the offer, and the second instalment should be paid by the 29th of December 2023.

Loans, Grants and Scholarships

Financial assistance in the form of loans, grants, and scholarships is not accessible for enrolment in the Dentistry Foundation Course. It is advised to plan for funding the program’s tuition fee, accommodation, visa, travel, and living costs using your personal budget.

Upon successfully completing this Dentistry Foundation Course, you will be well-equipped to initiate the admission process for Dentistry studies at UCV.
